Who can join Primrose Hill Choirs?

Primrose Hill Choirs welcomes adults and children of all ages and abilities. No auditions are required, and new members are welcome throughout the year.

Do I need previous singing experience?

No. The choirs welcome both complete beginners and experienced singers. The musical director provides guidance during rehearsals to help everyone develop their confidence and musical skills.

What kind of music do the choirs sing?

The choirs perform a wide variety of music, including pop, classical, musical theatre, world music, gospel and seasonal favourites.

Are there separate choirs for adults and children?

Yes. Primrose Hill Choirs includes an adult choir and a children's choir, each with its own weekly rehearsals and performances.

Are there opportunities to perform?

Yes. Members perform regularly in concerts and special events across London, with past performances including Wembley Stadium, BBC Radio London, the Victoria & Albert Museum and community concerts.

Can members sing solos?

Yes. Both adults and children have opportunities to perform solo parts during concerts, depending on the programme.

Where do the choirs rehearse?

The adult and children's choirs rehearse at venues in Primrose Hill, North London. Full venue details, rehearsal dates and times are available on the website.

Can I join at any time?

Yes. New members are welcome to join during the term, although joining earlier gives more time to learn the music for upcoming performances.
